Local St. Albert man, Barry Ryziuk, was enjoying a leisurely run through the trails of the river valley in Edmonton today when he felt like he was being followed. Fearing for his life he reached for his trusty camera with hopes the flash may scare away what ever predators may be lurking behind him. “Sure enough, as I turned and set off the flash, I also captured this amazing action shot of 4 cougars about to pounce on me”. Those cougars just seemed so surprised by the flash, they immediatly turned and disappeared into the bushes” said still shaken Ryziuk.
